Kinja'd!!!

Cause we're buying BMW parts tonight...shout out to the fine people at ECS Tuning who answered my dumb questions.

*Not my engine bay, but one day I'll get a CSL intake

So what am I getting? New spark plugs, new driveshaft guibo/CSB, new O2 sensor, BMW performance SSK, ECS silicone intake elbow, and AFE Pro Dry S drop in filter

ECS is a great company

Yeah I think I'll be going through them or Turner Motorsports for pretty much everything I need. They support the forum I frequent a lot and members have nothing but good things to say.

Turner is good too, they tend to be on the expensive side though. FCP Euro and Tischer are both great companies too

I use FCP and ECS. They are both excellent. FCP was second only to IPD USA for Volvo stuff. I use ECS for stuff on the Audi. I really wanted to visit ECS when I was in Ohio. Just got packages from both this week in fact.

A little overpriced and sorta deceiving sometimes, but otherwise pretty good.

As goes for most companies selling to the German car market

It's mainly extreme premiums on some items, with excessive shipping costs and then good prices with free shipping on other items. But yes, in General that is 100% true.

I'm trying to see how much Turner wants to install an LSD in my 128i.

It'll be my birthday present to myself.

When the time comes I may have them do my rear suspension re-fresh, they are about 110 miles away but I have family and friends that live in Boston that I could stay with.

A LSD on a 128i sounds like some fun.

Yeah it would be about a 14 hour drive for me, but it would be a fun trip.

Yeah it seems like each company has somethings lower that others. Like all that stuff was cheapest from ECS but I'll be buying replacement rotors/Stoptech pads and SS lines from Turner for less than ECS. FCP is going to come in handy when I redo my door pins because they have all those little clips, screws, washers , etc.

ECS is my go to, and from there if I can find the part number I'll look elsewhere to see if it's any cheaper.
